The Ivory Coast flag has 3 vertical band of orange, white and green. The flag is influenced by 'Pan-African colours' refers to two different sets of 3 colours: green, yellow and red, and also of the way it looks like the French flag, which is the country who colonized Ivory Coast. The orange colour stands for land, white stands for peace and green stands for hope
and also the forest of the southern part of the country. The flag was adopted in 1959.

Brunei Flag
The national flag of Brunei has a crest of Brunei in the center, on a yellow field. The field is cut by black and white diagonal stripes, which are shaped like parallelograms. Yellow field represents our Sultan of Brunei. On the crest there is a crescent (which represents Islam), joined with a parasol (symbolizing monarchy), and the upturned hands on both sides (signifying the goodwill of the government). Below the crescent is a ribbon. On the crescent and the ribbon are Arabic writing which means "State of Brunei, Abode of peace" one of Brunei's motto. In 1906, Brunei was a British Protectorate. following the signing of an agreement between Brunei and Great Britain. The design was finished on 1 January 1984 where Brunei gained full independence.
